Build or extend your basic NMEA 2000 network on your boat. Use Garmin’s NMEA 2000 power isolator to ensure sources that could power the bus are separated properly during installation of the NMEA 2000 network. In some cases, NMEA 2000 capable engines could provide power to the NMEA 2000 bus. This power isolator is useful because it makes sure that the power from the engines is kept separate from the system power.
